Toshiba USIO21 CIEMAC nV Series Unified I/O Controller
USIO21 is an integrated unified I/O controller of Toshiba CIEMAC nV distributed control system, manufactured in Japan. It integrates power supply, local I/O acquisition, bus communication and logic processing in one rack-mounted unit, acting as field remote data acquisition station to cooperate with HFAS11S main CPU via 100Mbps TC-net fiber ring bus. It collects on-site analog/digital signals and transmits processed data to the central main control rack.

The device supports redundant eNet industrial Ethernet dual network architecture and multi-branch isolated eBus I/O bus to avoid single-point fault spread. Equipped with RS232, RS485 and fiber optical ports, it can connect third-party analyzers and inverters. It is widely used as spare remote I/O station hardware for overhaul and expansion of thermal power and petrochemical Toshiba DCS systems.
