Toshiba UTNH23A CIEMAC nV TC-net100 Optical Shared Hub Unit


UTNH23A is the A-line optical shared hub of Toshiba CIEMAC nV series DCS, manufactured in Japan, matched with UTNH23B (B-line) for dual redundant TC-net100 star fiber network architecture. It serves as core optical switching equipment for the 100Mbps TC-net industrial bus, connecting HFAS11S main CPU, USIO21 remote I/O stations, UTLH21 optical ring modules and operator stations via multi-mode fiber, realizing deterministic real-time process data forwarding.

This hub integrates built-in AC wide-range power supply, multiple fiber optical ports and dual RJ45 Ethernet uplink ports. It must be paired with UTNH23B to build fully redundant A/B dual bus networks, supporting automatic fault bypass and hot-swap maintenance. Equipped with complete status LED indicators, it is widely used as spare communication hardware for thermal power, petrochemical Toshiba CIEMAC nV DCS overhaul and expansion projects.
