MVI56-PDPMV1 is a licensed PROFIBUS DPV1 master communication module developed by ProSoft Technology for Rockwell 1756 ControlLogix PLC racks. Compliant with IEC 61158 standard, it acts as a protocol gateway, realizing bidirectional data exchange between ControlLogix backplane and PROFIBUS DP V0/V1 slave devices including inverters, sensors and remote I/O stations. It supports cyclic process data transmission and acyclic DPV1 parameter read/write, covering real-time control and equipment parameter calibration demands simultaneously.

This single-slot rack module is recognized as a standard I/O module by Logix controllers, compatible with both local and remote ControlLogix chassis. It equips RS232 configuration port and PROFIBUS DP DB9 interface, with built-in multi-status LED indicators for real-time fault diagnosis.
