FOXBORO AD908MF I/A Series Transient Data Communication Interface Cable Assembly
AD908MF is a dedicated shielded communication cable assembly for Foxboro I/A Series DCS, matched with FBM207/FBM20C fieldbus modules to realize high-speed transient signal collection and inter-board data transmission. The double-shielded cable with DB37 male connector and split terminal wiring head delivers stable signal transmission for fast-changing pressure, flow and vibration transient data, eliminating electromagnetic interference from high-power equipment in power and chemical control rooms.

This pre-terminated wiring kit adopts flame-retardant outer sheath and internal twisted pair shielding structure, with printed circuit number labels for quick circuit identification. Original Foxboro production has been discontinued, it is an essential aftermarket spare part for overhauling aging I/A Series racks, replacing damaged original cables without reworking cabinet wiring layout.

Core Functions
- Conduct high-speed transient analog and digital signals between FBM fieldbus I/O modules and rack backplane controllers, capturing short pulse process mutation data for fault analysis.
- Dual-layer shielding design completely suppresses ground loop noise and motor/inverter electromagnetic radiation, ensuring accurate high-frequency signal sampling in harsh industrial cabinets.
- Integrated split terminal block realizes one-to-one corresponding wiring for multi-channel sensor signals, convenient for on-site circuit inspection and troubleshooting.
- Pre-terminated finished cable reduces field wiring construction time, plug-and-match with FBM modules without custom wire stripping and crimping work.
- Transmit synchronized real-time transient data to Foxboro DCS operator stations, supporting historical waveform storage and equipment abnormal vibration diagnosis.
- Unified Foxboro I/A Series mechanical and electrical definition, direct replacement for aged, cracked or short-circuited original cables without modifying control logic configuration.
