Woodward 9907-1183 505E Digital Turbine Governor Controller
9907-1183 belongs to Woodward classic 505E series integrated turbine digital governor, dedicated to single/extraction/back-pressure steam turbines, turboexpanders and small generator sets. It integrates LCD display, physical operation keypad and multi-channel I/O terminals, adopting 32-bit high-speed microcontroller to realize dual PID closed-loop control of rotating speed and extraction pressure, with built-in overspeed, overpressure and zero-speed detection safety protection logic.

This panel-mounted all-in-one controller supports dual Modbus RTU communication ports for data interconnection with ABB PM511 DCS and Bently Nevada monitoring systems. It adopts password-locked program storage to avoid misoperation, with wide DC power supply and strong industrial anti-interference performance. Woodward has stopped original production, and it is globally supplied as core maintenance spare parts for thermal power, chemical plant and waste heat power generation turbine units.

Core Functions
- Collect turbine speed sensor signal and extraction pressure 4–20mA analog signal, drive steam valve actuator to stabilize unit speed and extraction pressure via PID regulation.
- Support extraction/admission steam turbine compound control, automatically balance power generation load and process steam supply demand of chemical plant production lines.
- Dual Modbus communication realizes real-time upload of turbine speed, valve position, fault codes and running parameters to upper DCS/SCADA remote monitoring platform.
- Password encryption program storage prevents unauthorized parameter modification; all configuration data is retained after power failure without repeated setting.
- Integrated complete safety interlock logic triggers fast valve shutdown when overspeed, zero-speed loss or overpressure occurs to protect turbine unit from damage.
- All-in-one panel design integrates display, operation and control, supporting on-site local manual operation and remote automatic switching control modes.
