The ProSoft MVI56-PDPMV1 is a dedicated PROFIBUS DPV1 master communication module designed for Allen‑Bradley ControlLogix 1756 chassis. It serves as a protocol gateway, enabling ControlLogix PLCs to exchange cyclic and acyclic data with PROFIBUS DP slave devices over standard PROFIBUS fieldbus networks.


This single-slot module plugs directly into the ControlLogix backplane and supports full DPV0 and DPV1 functions including alarm handling and parameter access. With electrical isolation and comprehensive diagnostic features, it delivers stable interconnection between Rockwell automation platforms and European-manufactured field equipment.
