DS200AAHAG1AD (abbreviated as AAHA) was created as part of the Speedtronic Mark V LM control panel. This board can provide connectivity and interface functionality between control engines with I/O cores and external hardware. The control engine is usually included in the<R>core. This kernel typically requires the use of two AAHA boards. One of the boards is used to facilitate stage linking between the user interface and the kernel. The second board has the ability to connect the core with COREBUS. This link allows communication between the I/O kernel and the control engine.
After insertion and installation, DS200AAHAG1AD can run without any type of hardware or software changes. The AAHA board is relatively small. It has an EBNC connection port that is usually not used. It has an ARCBNC-B port labeled P1 and an ARCBNC-A port labeled P1. These ports are BNC ARCNET communication ports. There is an E2 and E1 LED indicator light. There is a typically unused EPL 9-pin connection and an APL 10 pin connection port used as an ARCNET communication link.
