At the bottom of the device there is a large black knob. Next to this knob is a switch which is labeled with the word SCALE at the top and DC and AC at the bottom. This device is connected to the printed circuit board with a series of white wires. A variety of small components such as capacitors, resistors, and integrated circuits have been placed on the surface of the PCB.
