Product Description
Model IS400ERSEG1A is part of the EX2100e series that was produced by General Electric. As part of the EX2100e series of models, the IS400ERSEG1A model was produced with enhanced technology in mind, which is what the ‘e’ at the end of EX2100 stands for. This model is used as an Exciter PCM Control Card. Unfortunately, the model is no longer being actively produced by General Electric which makes this model mostly obsolete. When the model has been mounted it will typically operate in a power conversion model, in which a three-phase inverting thyristor is the typical component of said power conversion model.
The IS400ERSEG1A model can also be equipped with potential protective components. During operation, the typical network for this model is the same as the Mark Ve, Mark VI, and Mark VIe turbine controls and LS2100/LS2100e static starter networks which is a 10/100 Mbps Ethernet network. A benefit to using a model such as this, within the EX2100e series of devices is that there is maximum reliability with redundancy control and protection.
