Exciter Attenuator Module IS200EXAMG1ABB is marketed as a bridge protection board. It has the ability to drive the electrical center for field windings with a low-frequency alternating current relative to the ground. Please note that the main mounting location for this model is in a control module. The control module can be used in two main redundant applications such as triple or simplex redundant. 

With the Unit Data Highway Ethernet-based LAN communication the EXAM board can be used with not only the Mark VI Series for which this model was designed but it can also be used with Human Machine Interface, Historian Software, GE Fanuc PLC-based controls, and many more. The EXAM board will be used with the main control module of the Mark VI system and can also be used with IONets and power supplies.
