GE Multilin UR8FV CT/VT Measurement Module


The GE Multilin UR8FV is a hot‑swappable plug‑in CT/VT analog measurement module for GE Multilin UR‑series universal protection relays. It receives secondary current and voltage signals from current transformers and voltage transformers, converts raw field signals into precise digital measurement data, and feeds data to the main relay CPU for protection algorithms, metering and power‑system fault monitoring in substation automation systems.

This module connects directly to UR‑series relay chassis backplane bus, featuring high‑precision signal conversion and galvanic isolation to suppress substation electromagnetic interference. It supports hardware channel diagnostics and works with EnerVista UR configuration software. Original production has been discontinued.
