Bently Nevada 3500/53 Overspeed Detection Module


The 3500/53 is a dedicated safety overspeed detection module for Bently Nevada 3500 TSI machinery monitoring rack, fully compliant with API 670 and API 612 safety standards for turbine and compressor overspeed protection. It receives pulse signals from proximity probes or magnetic pickups, calculates real-time rotational speed, and triggers fast-response relay trip signals once exceeding preset overspeed thresholds.

This safety-critical module supports hot-swap replacement without rack shutdown, and multiple units can form 2oo2 or 2oo3 voting logic to avoid false trips. Equipped with front panel LED indicators for power, communication and fault status, it adopts conformal coated PCB to resist damp, dust and vibration in power, petrochemical heavy industrial environments.
