The Bently Nevada 3500/22M also known as TDI transient data interface module, is the core communication and rack interface unit for the 3500 machinery protection system. It collects steady-state and transient waveform data from all monitoring modules inside the rack, and acts as a gateway to System 1 machinery management software.

This rack plug-in module integrates the functions of RIM rack interface and communication processor. It is equipped with dual 10/100Mbps Ethernet ports and front USB port for system configuration.
