5X00497G01 is a 4-slot universal I/O terminal baseplate for Emerson Ovation DCS (inherited from Westinghouse). It serves as the physical carrier and signal wiring bridge for all standard Ovation plug-in I/O cards, providing backplane bus communication, 24VDC power distribution and field terminal wiring terminals for analog, digital, RTD and pulse modules.

This base adopts split green pluggable terminal blocks for convenient field wiring maintenance, supports hot-swap of all inserted I/O modules without powering down the rack, and is compatible with redundant power supply architecture.
