GE MultiNET FE Serial to Ethernet Communication Converter


The GE MultiNET FE is an industrial-grade serial-to-Ethernet converter designed for GE Multilin intelligent electronic devices. It realizes protocol conversion between Modbus RTU on RS485 bus and Modbus TCP/IP, enabling legacy serial protection relays and meters to connect seamlessly to modern Ethernet SCADA networks.


This unit supports both 10BaseT copper and 10BaseF fiber optic interfaces for strong anti-interference capability. It can connect up to 32 RS485 field devices and supports multi-master access. Widely used for substation automation upgrading, control cabinet transformation and spare parts stocking in power plant and utility industries.
