Product Description

The ABB NGC8206 is compact field‑installed gas chromatograph developed for natural‑gas composition analysis and custody‑transfer metering applications. Serving as an on‑site analytical core unit along natural‑gas pipelines, it separates and calculates hydrocarbon components from N₂ through C6+ and optional H₂S. It computes heating value, specific gravity, Wobbe index and compressibility complying with AGA‑8 standards and outputs certified measurement data for gas transaction and process‑control systems.

This industrial‑grade analyzer is equipped with built‑in 32‑bit Windows‑CE controller and high‑precision 24‑bit A/D converter to deliver outstanding test repeatability. It consumes less than 7 Watts under normal working conditions and supports low‑power continuous running. It supports Modbus‑TCP, RS‑485 and Ethernet communication for seamless data uploading to DCS or third‑party platforms. With explosion‑proof housing, wide‑temperature adaptation and enhanced EMC anti‑interference design, it adapts to outdoor pipeline sites and supports 24‑7 long‑term stable field‑operation without frequent calibration.
